My name is Nikolay Angelov.

I am a seasoned software engineering leader with over 16 years of experience spanning industries such as automotive, robotics, warehouse automation, and SaaS. My career has been driven by a passion for technology, innovation, and building exceptional engineering teams and organizations. I thrive on creating environments that foster collaboration, growth, and excellence, helping engineers and leaders reach their full potential.

With a strong background in product development, I have successfully led cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that address complex challenges and meet evolving market demands. My expertise includes software development, embedded systems, IIoT, and strategic leadership with some experience in Product and Project Management.

I am a constant learner and for the last 10 years, I have been going through more than 20 different programs, courses and certifications in different areas of technology, leadership and management. This includes areas of AI, Robotics, Data Science, Computer Vision, Web applications, Team Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Project Managemenet (certified PMP) and Product Management.

I am a proud member of Mensa International and a volunteer participant in some young talents mentorship programs. I share my leadership and management perceptions and experiences through my Leadership From Practice blog newsletter.

Outside of work, I am a devoted father, husband, and enthusiastic football fan (soccer for US readers).
